A star is born.

Who doesn’t remember summer as a child? The time change and the start of the long days, when we’d get home in daylight? The first day we left the house without a coat? And the first ice-cream? These memories and recollections almost have an odour, which is only given off by summer. And summer brings the sun, the heat, the beach, the sea… An inexplicable form of happiness. And it was from this happiness, not so long ago, that I drew an inspiration deeply dedicated to all people who want to experience summer.

The story of the first summer facial, created in 2023 with a unique signature.

“It was born on a beach afternoon, between the green of the Serra da Arrábida and the clean, deep blue of the sea. It was very hot and the sun was burning at seventeen hours and three minutes, with a tip and a half standing out of the shade.

Another day at the beach, a jumble of feelings between liking that salty smell and deeply despising the sun. And the intensity of the light in my eyes, the radiation on my skin. Ageing. How good it does to our souls and how bad it does to our skin.

And along with the cosmetics I had that day, I set out to find something else that could protect me from the sun.”

On this summer afternoon, in a place that overflows my soul, the desire was born to create a signature facial treatment, unique on the market, where we could guarantee additional protection from sun exposure. A delivery experience where regenerating technologies and antioxidant and repairing cosmetics were non-negotiable. This treatment is to be carried out the week before the start of prolonged sun exposure, to prevent spots and photo-ageing.

Experiencing this facial in our atelier brings back memories. It brings the smell. It brings the inexplicable form of happiness.

I dedicate my writing to my best friends, Patrícia and Cristiana, the roots of this place that overflows my soul.
